Renault SA increased profitability of its automobiles, including Duster model for mass market, Bloomberg reports.

European market is a major one for Renault, as well as for PSA Group. This is why these companies are isolated from trade war that threatens automobile industry recently. 

Renault's operational margin grew to 6,4%. Earlier, producer of Peugeot and Citroen, PSA Group, informed that this margin grew to 7,8%.

All three US manufacturers reduced financial outlook for this year due to higher material costs and rising trade barriers. Hyundai Motor Co. and Daimler AG showed pessimistic second quarter results. About half of cars that Daimler sells in the US are imported fron European Union.

Renault on the other side confirmed that revenue for this year will not change, and profit margin will stay above 6%.
