Earlier on Tuesday Ryanair announced cancellation of 150 flights out of 400 to or from Germany. The company also informed about possible lay-offs in case such strikes take place again.
Pilot union in Germany asks to agree on request to use mediator for talks in regards to pay and terms.
Irish air carrier met with complaints from unions for its practice to hire some pilots through third-party agencies.
Carries experienced the largest strikes this summer. The situation eased a little bit when Ryanair signed agreements with pilots in Ireland.
However, last week seven unions of cabin crew in Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Spain and Netherlands threatened to hold strikes in late September, if airline does not agree to improve working conditions.
