Cryptocurrencies market fell to 10-month low, Bloomberg reports. Ether, the closest rival of Bitcoin, is leading the slump. It lost 9,5% since Friday.

Bitcoin fell by 2,5%. As a whole, market capitalization of digital assets tracked by CoinMarketCap.com reduced to $197 billion, which is about $640 billion lower that peak value in January.

Digital coins showed decline in five weeks out of last six due to concern that general accepting of digital assets might take longer than was initially expected. This concern strengthened after US Securities and Exchange Commission temporarily suspended trading of two securities linked to cryptocurrencies.

Bloomberg Galaxy Crypto Index, tracking major digital coins, fell today in Honk Kong by 4,5%.

Ether suffers more than Bitcoin as firms involved into blockchain started cashing out second largest cryptocurrency.
