As a whole, US central bank notes strong pace of country’s economic development, accompanied by rise in employment and consumption. The picture is however darkened by slower growth of business investments, which could play a key role in further GDP growth. Investments growth was one of the main goals for Trump’s tax reform approved at the end of last year.
US Fed raised interest rates three times this year, and most likely will do this again in December. Current lending rate is between 2,00% and 2,25%.
Data published at the end of October showed that US economy grew with the annual pace of 3,5% in third quarter.
