Chinese economy’s growth continued slowing down in October, Bloomberg reports with the reference to Bloomberg Economics gauge, which takes into account the earliest available indicators of business and market environment. It seems that the government’s efforts to stabilize the situation do not have necessary effect yet.

This is why investors will closely watch what will happen to the second largest economy in the world in the second quarter. Special attention will be paid to the government’s ability to stabilize situation without increasing the debt.

This month the government took some steps to improve mood at the market, including steps to increase liquidity in financial system, tax deductions and measures to support exporters.

There are also no signs of improving relations between China and the US in October. The Presidents of two countries will meet at summit in November, however, breakthrough in relations is not expected.

In third quarter China’s economy growth slowed down to 6,5%, more than was expected . And this is the lowest number since the financial crisis.

Data of major China’s trade partners are also disappointing. Weighted average PMI index for such countries as the US, EU and Japan has been falling for six months and now it is the lowest in two years.

Index of Chinese stocks Shanghai Composite fell in October to the lowest level in four years.
