Export from China showed high growth in September, Bloomberg reports. It indicates that produces are trying to speed up deliveries to avoid new US tariffs. This will not last long, Bloomberg experts think.
Export volume in dollar terms grew in September by 14,5% compared with the same period last year, despite of expected slowdown to 8,2%. Import volume grew by 14,3%. Trade surplus with the US hit another record, while export to this country rose by 14%.
It shall be reminded that the US applied 10% tariff to $200 billion of Chinese import, however, this rate will be increased to 25% next year.
Meanwhile, index of new export orders fell to the lowest level in two years, which allows expecting decline in export growth in the nearest future.
