In Switzerland known for its high mountains and prices the revenue may grow by $61000. Expats’ salary is in average $203000 per year, which is twice as much as global level.
Annual report HSBC places Singapore on leading position in the rating of countries most suitable for living and working. New Zealand, Germany, Canada, Bahrain, Australia, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan and UAE follow.
Switzerland loses positions due to higher costs of raising children and difficulties in making friends. Sweden is one of most gender-equal countries, while New Zealand, Spain and Thailand are leading in experience category.
Despite of cultural, financial and professional advantages of moving abroad, survey of 22318 people showed that women are left behind in some position. Only one fourth is moving for career growth, while for men this share is 47%. Average annual salary of women is $42000 lower than for men.
