UK’s house prices showed some recovery in September due to signs of growing sales of expensive property in London, Bloomberg reports.

This month prices grew by 0,7%, which corresponds to the average number for September since 2011.

As of London, sales volumes for houses with price higher than 750000 pounds gained 6% in September compared with the same period last year.

As a result, the average selling price around the country grew from 301973 pounds in August to 304061 pounds in September.

Separate report from Acadata showed price gains in August by 0,1%, which indicated the end of longest strike of losses since financial crisis.

Last data is a rare good news for UK’s housing market, which suffered recently from slower economic growth, changes in taxes and Brexit.
