Recent estimate of airplane producer is 6,2% higher than previous.
According to Boeing, the increase was possible due to middle class growth in China. It more than tripled in last ten years, and will double in next decade.
Boeing and Airbus are actively competing for the share at the fastest growing aviation market in the world. Both companies already have assembly plants in China.
Boeing also projects that by 2037 China will have 18% of all commercial airplanes in the world. Now Chinese fleet accounts for 15%. In addition, the country will need more than $1,5 trillion commercial services to support these airplanes.
