President Trump wrote in his Twitter that Apple shall produce its products inside the US, in order to avoid tariffs on Chinese import, Reuters informs.

The company informed on Friday that proposed duties will affect prices on wide range of Apple’s products.

On Friday US President announced that the Administration is working on proposal of tariffs on additional $267 billion of Chinese goods. On Saturday he noted that this might result in higher prices for Apple’s products. However, the company may avoid paying duties and even get additional tax incentives if starts producing in the US.

Technological sector is among biggest losers as new tariffs will result in higher import prices of parts. According to Apple, US may suffer from new duties even more than China.
