As a result the company cut prices. This happened at the same time with growing fuel costs as well as pay increase by 20% for some pilots. Ticket price fell by 4% during period ending June 30.
Despite the fact that airline could tranfer passengers, which flights were cancelled due to pilots' strikes, to other flights, the consequences of these action will most likely be negative.
Profit after taxes fell to 319 million during three months prior to June 30.
Ryanair so far has not changed net income forecast for the year that will end in March 2019. It will fell first time since 2014 to 1,25-1,35 billion euro.
Ariline faced strikes of Irish pilots as well as flight attendants from Spain, Belgium and Italy.
Revenue in first quarter grew by 9% to 2,08 billion euro.
