European manufacturer is getting ready to finalize a deal with AirAsia Group Bhd., the largest budget airline on the contintent, for $23 billion. Another deal will allow selling $6 billion of aircrafts to Tawainese StarLux Airlines.
AirAsia, Malaysian airline, which is already the second largest client for A320, considering the order of 100 aircrafts A321neo.
AirAsia's shares gained 2,6%.
Purchase of A321neo will allows AirAsia to overcome Indian Interglobe Aviation Ltd.
Negotiations with StarLux involve 12 aircrafts A350-1000 and five A350-900.
Airbus and Boeing will announce a whole range of new orders at the Farnborough Airshow that starts on Monday.
