Swedish economy showed contraction in third quarter, Bloomberg reports. It did not meet expectations of analytics and puts doubts on plans of central bank to raise interest rates next month.
GDP fell by 0,2% compared with last quarter and rose by 1,6% compared with the same period of last year. Analytics surveyed by Bloomberg forecasted quarterly growth at 0,2%.
Such decline in GDP along with consumption reduction is the first since second quarter of 2013. Data also was accompanied by lower business confidence level and decline in retail sales.
Swedish currency is close to show the biggest weekly drop versus euro. Ratio EUR/SEK grew by 0,4%.
