Actions aimed at fighting climate changes may add at least $26 trillion to the world economy by 2030, Reuters reports with the reference to research of Global Commission on Economy and Climate.

Research is aimed to dispel fears that transfer from fossil fuel will limit global growth.

Wiser investments into clean energy, cities, food and use of water and land will lead to creation of 65 million new working places in 2030. Besides, transfer from organic fuel to clean energy, such as wind and solar, will help prevent 700000 premature deaths from air pollution by 2030.

Report prepared as a result of research recommends higher prices for carbon dioxide at $40-$80 per tom by 2020.

Subsidy reforms of energy sector together with higher prices of emissions will help government to earn $2,8 trillion a year by 2030.

However, despite of more active steps in fighting climate changes, this is still not enough to limit temperature increase that causes flood, wildfires, sea level rise and unusual heat, report points out.
