About 91% of economists surveyed by National Association for Business Economics think that current tariffs and future threats will have negative impact on US economy. About two thirds see negative effect from US coming out of NAFTA.
251 economists participated in survey. As a whole, many expect federal deficit to grow as percentage to economy in the long run.
Economists are more positive about US Fed’s policy (76% of surveyed).
About 74% think that economic policy shall be aimed to eliminate income inequalities, while 60% expressed necessity to mitigate climate changes.
